I saw an ad on youtube for this stuff: http://www.softsheen-carson.com/_us/_en/optimum-care/miracleoil/6-in-1-miracle-oil.htm
The ingredients are strange, I haven't heard of half of them. And it ain't just all the wonderful oils they claim is in this stuff. Random, hard to pronounce ingredients.
So what do you guys think? Yay or nay? Is this stuff a load of hogwash or beneficial?

Random, hard to pronounce ingredients are usually frowned upon when it comes to looking for natural oils. That doesn't necessarily mean it won't be a good product for your specific hair.
I would only def stay away if mineral oil and petroleum are way high up on the list. It doesn't penetrate the shaft or scalp, but it can benefit you if you're looking to seal in moisture.
Hope that helps :D

Its main ingredient is isopropyl myristate- there's some info on that here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isopropyl_myristate#section_1
Not quite sure why they've put so much of it into this product. I think I read somewhere that it makes oils feel less greasy.
Personally I'm suspicious of anything that has the word 'miracle' in the title, or claims to harness the power of natural ingredients whilst being full of man-made chemicals.

Me, too! I wasn't planning on buying it because I'm happy with the oil I have now I just wanted to see what other LHCers thought, because I was suspicious as soon as I read the ingredients, lol.
