Hi guys! I have a formal event come Saturday and need some ideas. I like half ups, but don't know any beautiful ones, and I kinda want an updo, but only have nearly BSL hair. Any suggestions? Perferably something that is more complicated and takes a bit longer to do? I don't mind spending more time, I actually want a nicer look. I would love a half up do, but braids and other dos are welcome! Any ideas? (oh and I LOVE Piper's hairstyles from Charmed so if you have any ideas from the show or her hair, that's certainly welcome!)

Torrin did a Cersei from Game of Thrones updo that was a 1/2 up and it was gorgeous! I'd suggest you check it out! :)

This sounds amazing! My hair is nowhere near her length but the thickness is similar so I can't wait till my hair is long enough for her updos! I might have enough length to do the one you are suggesting...

You should check out Ladollyvita33 on YouTube, she does beautiful Grecian hairstyles and has the same length hair as you :) Hope this helped x

Perhaps Habioku's You Tube tutorials might help:

The Gibson Tuck might work for you too.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I love Habioku's Youtube! The Gibson tuck adds a bit too much volume for me...lol, its very pretty on others though. Oh inticate yay!:)

Correction: I just tried the gibson tuck, pulling tighter and using a huge butterfly clip to balance the volume, its beautiful!
