What does your length look like from the front?

We always see length shots from the back, and I've always wondered...

What would my hair look like from the front when I finally get to my goal length?!

How long does Classic look in the front? Does APL from the front look the same on me as it does on another, etc?

Would anyone like to post their length from the front? You can blur out your face if you wish! :)

(If there's a thread like this somewhere feel free to link me to it, I did a search but couldn't find anything. :flower:)

My hair is "shorter" when in front. My hip length hair just curls in my lap by about a inch. :) When its behind my its about an inch or two from touching the seat.

I always think my hair looks shorter from the front than it does from the back. But I'm not sure if that's actually the case. I'm a little past APL currently.

From the back my hair just passes the waist band of my pants, from the front it just passes my bellybutton. A difference of about two inches. I am fairly flat chested so don't loose much length there. I think most of the difference is from the U hemline. The hairs that are longest while in front are the shortest while pulled back.

It usually does look a little shorter in the front, haha.
My final goal is to get wrist length, so when it's pulled in front it just touches the start of my thighs lol.

Mine looks way shorter bc i have a massive chest...it's almost waist in the back but just past my nipples in the front...(chubby people problems...)

Mine is bsl in the back and about an inch and a half past APL in the front. I have a u/v hemline.

At the back, it's about 4cm from BCL (in my opinion, I haven't measured). When pulled to the front, it's bellybutton length. :D

My hair is just brushing waist in back and just barely covers my ample chest in front. For someone else, their hair might look longer when pulled to the front. Depends on your build.

From the front it almost reaches my waist if I pull it to my sides, otherwise it just about covers my boobs (well i say covers, comes to the lower edge of is probably more accurate). But I have quite a pronounced U hemline (shortest layer is APL in back) so maybe it will look longer in front when it's all grown out.

I'm nearly tailbone in the back since my last cut, but barely graze hip in the front when my waves are brushed out.

My hairs a few inches off hip and is waist length from the front if I go round the boobs or just past if I go over ( I'm an f cup!) :D

My hair is TBL, but in the front it seems to barely reach hip. It does brush my legs when I walk up stairs. Braided it's BCL in the back but doesn't get much past my boobs in the front.

Mine is a lot like yours, a U hemline but mid-back in length. I'm very short waisted, so mid back on me is probably BSL or even APL on most people. My boobs are a D cup, so I think it makes my hair look even shorter in the front.

My hair is probably 3 inches shy of BSL, yet when in the front..it hardly hits my armpits! It is very frustrating.
My face framing does not help one bit either.

My hair is mid-boob in the front, in the back I'm one inch shy of waist length. I am rather large-chested (36 DDD) so that probably accounts for some of the difference.

Anyway, I thought I'd play. I had to change into a lighter colored shirt because you couldn't see my ends in my navy shirt. Excuse the rolls, this is my fast wicking workout shirt that clings :cheese: I have a V-ish hemline right now due to my layers growing out. (Its hard to get a front picture of yourself!)

Ahh thanks. I am sitting her now with my freshly washed/dried hair loose and HATE IT. It is everywhere but staying down my back. And my stupid demarcation line is driving me crazy.

Just for fun I pulled my hair around front to look in the mirror and it goes past my crotch. My hair has never been this long before. I like it ok until I try to wear it loose. We are going to a concert tonight but I am not sure I can stand it down that long! I haven't worn it loose more than a couple hours since...since...since I can't remember.

Make it so! I love it :) It was especially awesome because we just started watching the Next Generation from the beginning on Netflix last week. Jean Luc has always been my favorite Star Trek character. Of course I think Patrick Stewart is sexy :o

Wow. Just...thanks! My mannerisms and voice would be nothing like her. Maybe that is why people havenever said anything? I will ask my DH and kids and I bet they would laugh and disagree. But they KNOW me, and Luna is a lot about her personality which I do not have.

And for everyone who likes my hair, thanks. Please take it. I really hate it now. I don't think I will ever wear it loose again after last night. I will disappoint a lot of people when I finally cut the mess off. It looks great in pictures, I agree, but "in motion" there is no poetry about it. IT LIVES and it's sole function in life is to reach out and grab whatever it can.

Love this thread, its funny that in real life we tend to pay most attention to the front of people, but on LHC its always the back of people's heads! I'll try and get a pic up at some point
