Is it time for a trim?

I've been avoiding letting my mother trim my hair (she is the only one I trust to do so). She always takes off one inch when she does it. My hair growth seems to be slowing down and my ends are a bit dry and full of splits. I'm thinking it might be time to let her "trim". No amount of S&Ding will get rid of these splits. What do you all think? Sacrifice an inch to improve my hair and possibly help it grow a bit better?

If you feel that way...I would do it.
A trim wont make you grow faster, but it will help keep the growth you are making from just breaking off in the ends. :)

I would totally do it. Once I am an inch past BSL I am going to take off an inch too.

I agree. I'm always happier with my hair after a needed trim even if I'm trying to grow it out. I'd say sacrificing and inch is worth it.

Thank you all! I think I will! I think I'll do some before and after shots to see how much of a change it really did, compared to what my mind things it will do ha.
