I'm sorry if this question has already been asked, as I'm sure it has. I was unable to find it here on LHC and everything else my google searches came up with were not a direct answer.
Will Manic Panic completely fade from my hair or does it stain the hair at all? (I already know about sometimes awkward colors in the fading process, but I'm not too worried about that.) I used a temporary color foam once when I was younger and had bleached blonde hair and it left a slightly grey tinge. I don't know if it would have ever washed out completely because we would refresh my color whenever we did my roots.
I'm currently considering dying my hair it's natural color, which scares me more than cutting 6 inches. I'd feel better if I knew I could fall back on being able to use manic panic on my hair to jazz it up every now and then. (My back up plan is to start using henna if I can't learn to like my natural color.) My hair has been color treated many times and it was a very light swedish blonde for almost two years before I dyed it red a few months ago.
EDIT: If it makes a difference, I recently switched to CO washing.
