Hey guys!

I am a returning member of LHC, I used to come on here when I was a freshman in high school and now I'm a sophomore in college so it's been a while! Anyways, my hair has changed since then. Does anyone want to take a look and help me define it?

My guess would be somewhere around 2c/3a, but the pics are a bit blurry.

I'd say 2c/3a. We're hair twins if I have the right product in. What I mean by that is that your curls look thinner than mine do, but the wavelength looks about the same. I don't know why, but mine seem to go fatter and clumpier than that. But still, I think we're the same type.

I'd say 3a. Very pretty curls!

I think you're a firm 3a.

I'd say 3b, you have tight curls but they aren't coils. The ends are kind straighter, is that from heat damage or hair styling?

3a. Too consistently curly to fall into the 2s. Not 3b because of the lower wavelength/looser curls.

Yeah, I would say in the 3s rather than 2s also, probably 3a.

I'd say 3a or maybe 3a/3b. Definitely not in the 2's.

I would say 2c/3a or solid 3a. I hesitate to type it as a 3a since I'm 99% sure I'm a 3a and your hair is different than mine, but, who knows.

I'd say 3a/3b.

Def from heat damage. My hair used to be way longer and I cut about a foot off because it was so damaged. I straightened it all four years of high school, so it's going through rehab haha

I'm gonna go with 3b. The coils just seem too tight for 3a. However in one of the pics, the hemline seems to loosen up, so maybe with more length it will end up 3a. Very pretty hair!

I revise my answer to 3a/3b.

yeah I think if those ends were naturally than straight then 3a/3b, in no way do i think you're in the 2 wavy scale.

just personal interest how are your ends? are they porous and require more moisture? im trying to figure out if my porosity is higher because of heat damage.

It's not too much that they need extra moisture, I don't think... I use the most conditioner on the middle of my hair, where it's the curliest, and the bottom layer towards the nape of my neck.
I think the biggest thing with my ends is that I have to scrunch them so much, and they still usually fall straight. But it's only a few inches now, and I couldn't stand to have my hair too short, so when it gets longer I'll cut them off.

I'm in the process of trying to find a pic of my hair not straightened in high school so you can see the damage. It's not easy though.

For me, COwashing helps define my hair. Along with using a leave in and some type of gel.

Here we go. This is how horrible my hair was. :)
