I only have a brush, so I usually end up absent-mindedly finger-combing at various points in the day with brushing on an as-needed basis. Usually every other day or so.

    once a week or so

my hair is thinning so i have this neurotic feeling that brushing it damages it even more, im not sure if this is even true. lol

also brushing takes out the wave/curl and makes it lose shape

Just once a day in the morning to get ready. The rest of the day an occasional finger comb.

When I wear my hair curly, it does not get touched at all, but when my hair is straight, I brush at least twice with a boar bristle brush

I literally only comb it after I've washed it. I never brush it...

Depends on how i'm styling it. If i'm giving my hair a "blow out" which is like a once a month thing i'll run my rounded brush through it. Now and then I'll tun a wide toothed comb through it in the shower while I deep condition. For the most part my fingers are enough.

I answered once a day, but its not really true. I usually brush and comb it once every day and sometimes fingercomb it when I'm braiding it for the night. Sometimes I have the same french braids for three days and therefore doesn't brsuh it at all during that time.

Normally, once a day but I didn't comb it at all this morning as I have not been well, it has just been in its sleeping cap all day. I'm about to go to bed now so it won't be combed until tomorrow morning.
