I've been using the Ojon conditioner and kind of like it - except for the price. (I bought a $9 2 ounce trial size.) I did an smt with it and it was very nice. The last two washes I have conditioned with this also. My hair is VERY soft now. If it makes sense it's too soft to hold up in any style, buns just kinds of slide out. Anyone else experience this result with a conditioner? I don't think I'm over conditioning - if anything I've been using small quantities and combing through.

I usually experience that after I clarify, but I've never had that problem from a conditioner.

My hair is incredibly soft and slides out of every style. I had just assumed that this was how my hair is, but maybe it is this way because of my conditioner? I've only really ever used suave/white rain type conditioners.

Well, soft hair is generally a good thing. However, if you're not happy with how slippery your hair is, I would save that conditioner just for deep treatments, and not use it every day. It is fairly pricey, so I'd just use it occasionally.
It does sound as though your hair is in good shape, though. ![]()

I'm another who experiences that after shampooing (and conditioning) to clarify.
Not sure why it's causing this for you, though. Does the Ojon have cones?

Dang which ojon stuff was this, the hydrating one? Cause I surely have some of it in my stash and I haven't used it yet and my hair is so coarse I can afford extra slip!

Yes, very much so. The products I have used were the hydrating shampoo, conditioner, revitalizing mist, glossing mist, styling cream, and clarifying shampoo, which all include lots of cones. Only the Restorative Hair Treatment is cone free. |
