I'm not crazy about going to bed without washing either and ended up switching between CWC and CO every night. I think (at least for my hair) CO-ing instead of skipping washing was a good thing because it seems to be a gentler wash. That's especially helpful because when I tried stretching washes my scalp got really itchy.
