Aw! This style is so cute. How did I only just now see this thread? Well, I'll get some in before the end of the month! It'll be great when I'm moving to keep my hair from suffocating me.
Eta: I'll update this with a picture (if my hair is long enough) as per the rules that I only just saw and read <3

I finally tried this style again using spin pins to hold it. Success! I still wish my braid was long enough to get all the way around, but this'll do in the meantime.![]()

Live, laugh, and love. And, my lovelies, be sure to smell the flowers along the way.
Oooo, i just found this nifty page with photos from the 40's specificly for wrapped crown braids, and thought of this page!

I never would have connected the 40's with this style. Always learning new things I guess![]()
I call this a coronet braid and it's one of my favorite styles, especially when done with a rope. I can get it to stay a while without pins, just by tucking it under itself, and it's a great thing to do with my sleep braid in the morning.
I will edit this post with a picture tomorrow when I am not on my phone.
