Aw! This style is so cute. How did I only just now see this thread? Well, I'll get some in before the end of the month! It'll be great when I'm moving to keep my hair from suffocating me.

I finally tried this style again using spin pins to hold it. Success! I still wish my braid was long enough to get all the way around, but this'll do in the meantime.

I call this a coronet braid and it's one of my favorite styles, especially when done with a rope. I can get it to stay a while without pins, just by tucking it under itself, and it's a great thing to do with my sleep braid in the morning.
I will edit this post with a picture tomorrow when I am not on my phone.

Once again sorry for the crappy pics, but I think you can tell there's no visible part, which is what I like! I tried it like Yulia Tymenshenko, which looks to me like she just braids it then wraps over her head, but due to my taper the heavier side wouldn't stay very well. This way feels very secure and only took four pins, compared to the 15 I had in earlier, lol!
