I'm a former experimenter who is now settled in a routine - catnip, catnip and more catnip - but as I love to play with my hair I get tempted on a regular basis.

I'm still experimenting because I don't know what really works with my hair yet. I like to experiment, and am what in the gaming world we call a "min-maxer" or "optimizor" so I need to keep trying to find things that work best, and get new ideas from here all the time.

I hope to one day settle into a routine that gets me 3/4 inch growth every month xD

I'm lazy, so benign neglect suits me very well. I have a few hair products I know and trust, so I don't feel the need to go looking for others unless I move countries and they're no longer available.

I neglect, fearing that experimenting will do 'something' to my hair. (Sometimes it does)

I am still experimenting to find what my hair really likes.

I'm still experimenting while trying to find something that will work well for me consistently.

I haven't used shampoo for about 6 months, I started with baking soda and vinegar routine (which didn't work great for my hair), and then found eggs. I haven't looked back, eggs really work for my hair. Well, egg yolks have been working really well, when I first read about egg wash it was just the yolk, so I haven't used the white until recently, but they seem to be working too. I have also started tea rinsing, and oiling with coconut oil. Both of these things seem to be working, but only time will tell if they become a permanent part of the routine.

I guess I'm actually between benign neglect and a routine. I've found the products that work for me, I micro-trim when I remember to, I keep my hair up most of the time and I am surprised when I realize I've added a few inches of length.

Semi lazy appears to be working for me.

Benign neglector. I'm not really into experimenting much. I'm always afraid my hair will react badly to experimental stuff.

Former experimenter now settled in routine.

I used to experiment a lot when I started learning about proper haircare and kept trying new stuff... then suddenly life got busy and I was forced to practice benign neglect. I go through phases of intense care in between my neglect phases, though, and I try not to neglect my hair too much because it needs a bit of babying to look its best

I experimented a lot after I joined LHC but now I am settled in a routine. I don't actually even think about my hair a lot now when it has grown out of pixie cut and I can put it up.
