I to noticed white vineger seems to work better, leaving my hair smoother, more conditioned and is less sticky than with AVC. Now its what I use, cheaper too.
Today I ran out of ACV and so reluctantly decided to use the cheap white vinegar I use for cleaning for an acid rinse after my poo bar wash.
I used the same amount I do with my ACV (1 tablespoon in a quart/liter of water).
Well my hair is finally dry and I just noticed that it is way shinier than when I use ACV!!!
Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just a fluke?

I've been using white vinegar lately too, just on the off-chance that ACV might discolour my silvers. I have to say it does make my hair noticeably softer, so it gets a thumbs up from me!

I like the white vinegar better than the apple cider vinegar too. It's cheaper and less stinky. Everyone says ACV so I thought I was weird and just kept quiet!

I've never used ACV on my hair since it's not something I normally have in the house. I've always used white vinegar and had good results. For me, it's main job is to restore the pH of my hair and any vinegar would work for that (or lemon juice or citric acid or even soda!)
I like my ACV. I understand people don't want to discolor their silvers but I'd like to say to all the blondes here (natural or otherwise), it doesn't discolor mine. Or leave it brassy, or red at all.

I never thought about trying white vinegar! I will try it out soon.
I've never used ACV, but I am a big fan of regular white vinegar rinses! I use it in my laundry too instead of fabric softener (^(oo)^)v
