    Default How often do you mist?

    I'm in LOVE with my mister bottle. Right now I have about 12 ounces of water, 1/4 teaspoon of avacado oil and half a teaspoon of sweet almond oil in there.
    I only most about once a wash (once every 3 days) but I'd love to do it more. It just makes updos and braids so much more convenient.
    I'm just scared of oil buildup after a while since I mainly CO.

    How often do you all mist? Does it make your hair gross after a while?

    I mist with plain water, so I can do it whenever I want. I was brought up using a spray bottle of water to refresh curl and waves, so not having one seems weird to me. I make sure I take one with me when I travel.

    I have a similar mixture of oil that I mist on my hair, and I have to try and not use it too often. It does make your hair gross... so you are probably doing it as much as you should!
