I had to try my hand at this as well. Loving everyone's colorful buns!

(excuse the oily hair... it's about to be washed!)

These are so cool! I might go hit up a Dollar Tree today and see if they have any of that ribbon-like yarn. Ooh...that reminds me, I need to go to Twisted (Yarn Store) and pick up some super bulky for a cowl I'm knitting for my mom...

*wandering off distracted by thoughts of yarn*

I made one, but by the time I was done making it my hair was dry and it's too slippery to braid up when dry. So I gotta wait till next wash lol

I would assume she's talking about Princess Leia, from Star Wars. There are several iconic hairstyles (both braided and bunned) from the movies.

    On a side note -
My local Dollar Tree had nothing in the way of yarn, and I was not going to spend $20 on the ribbon-like yarn at Twisted (yarn store) I went to this morning. I did buy some super-soft baby alpaca yarn (from Twisted) for a cowl though. Nothing for my hair.

I'm wearing my hair in a french braid with Paranda and then wound into a Cinnabun, held with a hairstick. Took a pic, but can't upload to my album and don't have an account to link to yet outside of LHC.

I love the different rainbow buns going on in this thread. (Haha, thread. Like yarn. )

I am eyeing up some green camo-ey colour yarn at the store despite having a shaggy pixie cut. *facepalm*
