Rose Gold/Pink Hair?? (lots of pics)

I really love the new rose gold trend. I've been obsessed with pink hair since I learned Marie Antoinette sported it and then even more so when I saw Kirsten Dunst in Maria Copolla's movie.

I think the faded pink would look awesome in my hair. How do I get this color and it has to be temporary dye as I don't want to have to strip, bleach or (horror!) cut it off.

Manic panic cupcake pink or a similar temporary dye diluted with conditioner, I've personally used a mix of half a teaspoon of colour to 6 teaspoons of conditioner on blonde hair to give a baby pink. Comb or rub through dry ends then leave for 20 minutes for a pale look, longer for more intense colour.

If your hair is darker than the first models you may need to add more pink to the mix for a visable colour, but you can always dye again straight after its dried and add more if you need to.

That looks very pretty! I second the manic panic mixed with conditioner. Should work pretty well. It will probably last only a little while, because of being diluted with the conditioner. So about 3 washes I'm guessing.

Marie Antoinette had pink hair? How did she get that colour back then I wonder??

I'd do a strand test, if you're paranoid about it sticking. I wanted rihanna's hair from the man down video, and my strand test made it look exactly like hers. Too bad it didn't matter how many times I washed that strand or how long it was out in the sun, it never came out.

What an interesting color! A girl with bleach-blond hair came into my cosmetology school the other day asking for faded pink tips. I thought it was a strange request at the time, but I guess it's rather popular .

I'll def do a strand test and I have some human hair extensions that match my color I use to torture before I experiment on my own.
