shower shedding (pic) is this average?

Hello fellow LHC'ers! here's a post of how much hair Ilost in the shower today. I co wash every other day so just wondering if this is normal? I use to shed way more but sometimes I just want to know if this is still more than the average gal.

Only here would you see a picture like that, lol. I would say that's a pretty average amount for me to shed during a wash--sometimes it's a little less, but sometimes it's more, and easily twice as much if I'm in a heavy shed period. If you've cut down on the amount you shed, I think you're doing pretty well. I seem to shed about the same no matter what I do.

ETA: I wanted to clarify that that's about how much I lose during a wash. I lose an equivalent amount or more when I detangle (twice a day), although I do lose more when I detangle after a wash (when my hair is dry). The amount in the picture is by no means the limit of how much hair I lose per day. I don't actually shed that much in the shower; most of my shed seems to be when my hair is dry.

This is about as much as I lose when I finger comb my hair under the shower while washing. It seems perfectly normal to me, and I haven't noticed my hair getting particularly thinner as a result of this treatment. If this is less than you used to lose you're clearly doing something right

All depends on the length of your hair too, I think each shower I lose about that much or a bit more

I lose quite a bit more than that.. I think there might be something wrong. I'd lose about that much in the shower then maybe that much when I finger comb after, than that much the next morning when it's all dry. It sucks. It's a wonder I even have hair on my head. Are there shampoo's that help with keeping shedding to a minimum?
