Styling options at chin length
are there any? I was trying to do something with my mop but I've barely ever had hair this short before.

When I had chin length hair I liked to do lace braids on the front or use hair bows and the like.

Micro-mini claw clips were my best friend at that length, and are surprisingly versatile.

Hm, interesting. I should probably look into headbands and the like, and learn how to lace braid!

I've been doing french and dutch headbands, it's been fun and an interesting way to deal with the back of my hair being shorter than the front!
Headbands are also good
The other day I did a loose pin curl set on my damp hair and it made it kind of cool!

The only thing I could really do at chin length was a half-up held with a flexi-8 clip or a GrahToe Studios micro mini fork. Braids are pretty, but I am horrible at braiding.

Re: Styling options at chin length
I am growing out again after going real short - am a little below chin length. I agree with prior suggestions of small clips, headbands and the Caruso steam rollers. I remember this stage as a difficult, but fairly short one. In no time our hair will be long enough to do a lot more styling options.

This made me think of Dale Hinman on tv, the FBI profiler. Her hair is chin length and she puts it back in such great ways. Not sure if she uses a clip or claw or what. Maybe google Dale Himan hair images - hehe I've done it just to look at it!,
