Where to buy henna in Canada

Does anyone know where I can get pure BAQ henna in Ontario? Hopefully in the Barrie/Orillia area?

I ordered mine from henna sooq (http://www.hennasooq.com/), which is operated from both Canada and the US. They have free shipping for orders over $60 (they have a lot of other great natural products).

You can also often find henna in your local indian grocery store. They may not have BAQ, but maybe would be able to tell you where to find it in your area.

Henna Sooq has moved to the US.

The only place I can find BAQ henna is at good Indian grocers. Go to a nice big one with lots of turn over.

Thank you for the info! Unfortunately, there are not any Indian grocers in Barrie that I know of. I have Googled it and nothing comes up. They all seem to be in the TO area.

I would order from one in teh TO area that will send it to me, if I could find one that I can order from online and use Paypal.

Ideally, would like to find a place nearby where I can get it in person but I can't find one in Barrie/ Orillia.

Hmmm, the only other thing I can think of would be to try checking your actual phone book. I have trouble finding small stores on Google around here as well even though we have all kinds of different ones here. Same goes with tiny little diners.

I did see that you have some Indian restaurants though. Perhaps if you were to visit one of them you could ask them after your meal where to buy Indian spices and henna locally. If there is a store in town, they would likely know! Plus, mmmm curry....

I would order from Henna Sooq. I'm in Calgary and had no problems. They are trusted henna merchants and you can pay via email money transfer in Canadian funds.

Plus they really care about their product and their customers. No question is ever ignored. Seriously, order from Henna Sooq, you wont be dissapointed!!

At above store, Jamilla powder, same box as everywhere, is only $1.49 for 100g and shipping to Canada is $8.00, same as Hennasooq. The store has been there for 20 years and is well known. I'm shocked at the price difference for same box of Jamilla!
I might not be 2011, as the Hennasooq box, but is the difference worth that much?

I'll look into Hennasooq. It's more than twice the money!
