Given the size of your locs in your avatar, I'm thinking a half up would be stunning on you.

Thank you, I do tend to wear half ups 99% of the time. I have a 9" circumference, so bunning is a challenge to say the least.

Does anyone here do this style? I saw this picture https://i-h1.pinimg.com/564x/d8/35/9...e5cebb7c0e.jpg and immediately thought TLHC, and so resurrected this thread. It looks like a pretty neat protective style. My hair is too short and doing this for two braids wouldn't be my style, I also don't have any hair ribbons/cloths for doing something like this.

I haven't, but now I really wanna try it! Shouldn't be too hard to make a daneggi some day when I have the time and energy...

    This looked nice too! https://www.google.se/search?q=Daeng...VDcxsWWtf7s_M:

Some more information on the different types of daenggi and on traditional Korean hairstyles https://thetalkingcupboard.com/2013/...and-headgears/

I "cheated" and made a really simple daenggi from a satin ribbon

And here's a picture that shows how to attach it a bit more clearly. https://www.google.se/search?biw=192...dGK7wMembh0mM:

So you actually use a smaller ribbon to tie the daenggi in place. I first put an elastic at the end of my braid and then attached the daenggi above it with a thin satin ribbon.
