So glad I saw this thread too ,I just pre ordered the raj.red too what a deal and free shipping too you can't beat that.
I put my pre-order in too for this, I have some H4H twilight, and this on order, excellent! I have fallen back in love with henna (and henndigo) and love the really deep reds

hahaha no problem to those thanking me for the post!
I've also decided to order 500g of red raj. even though my heart was set on hennaing my henna-virgin hair with Yemeni!
Does a higher lawsone content mean a deeper, truer red?
Also, can anyone here give a comparison of rajasthani to yemeni? I'm worried the rajasthani would yield too much of a burgundy/cool-red rather than a TRUE red.
(Sorry, I've no idea how to edit my last post ><)
Tested Yemeni from mehandi had %2.4 content.
Rajasthansi 2011 hennasooq crop has % 2.59
the red raj from Hennasooq has % 3.22
And lastly celebration had %3.4
I really don't know much about hue vs one crop to the next, or if it all comes jut down to dye content and original hair color. Some people claimed Yemeni did not get dark, just more ruby shade. I personally do not undertake the science behind it all??? Except maybe that it has to do with minerals in the soil absorbed by the plant.
Dye content alone : rajasnthani 2011 from Hennasooq is closest to Yemeni which isn't currently available. The pre order on red raj is closest to celebration which is also no longer available.
To add to cool/burgundy debate, I'm using Rajasthani 2010 and my hair has been orange with scattered rose shades only in very dark rooms only. In the sun the original color shines through looking golden blonde/orange. I started between medium blonde-white blonde and with glosses. I think it has more to do with dye content/ concentration of mix + original hair color. My hair isn't turning much darker or brown-red yet.

So happy. I just ordered 500 g myself.
One of my friends uses Rajasthani and the burgundy/cool-red tones look really good in her hair.
