No Trims in 2012 Challenge!

I find it so funny that people think they just HAVE to cut inches off their hair every month or two, we're going an entire year without trims and we're fine!

One thing I've learned is I gotta start trimming dry! When it's wet it's all one length, but when it's dry and curly my ends are so uneven it looks thin. Now I know why curly/wurly girls cut their hair dry!

I'm still here. My old angled bob layers are actually morphing into something acceptable-looking as they creep into shoulder territory. So, as time goes on I am getting fewer urges to trim.

Yup! Though, I realize that some people do get split ends either because of damage or just having delicate hair. Still, I think even those people can go a couple months.

The #1 reason why I've never had short hair for more than a few months is that the annoyance of having to get my hair trimmed constantly was too much for me.

I'm definitely in... Had it cut devastatingly too frequent a just got addicted to that 'fresh cut' feeling! Boy have I learned my lesson - I was devastated! So no trims for a whole year... See how my ends are looking in April

hmm. i think i'm in! at least, for the rest of this year. i'm hoping to reach my goal around christmas time (which is about 5 or 6 inches away from now) then i'll see if i want to go to waist

I think I will join you. No trimming or cutting. This includes my bangs. This will be so hard! I know it! I will have strong urges to cut my bangs again but at the end of this year it's surely grown past the stage I usually end up cutting it again.

My SO will probably whine a lot. He likes my bangs but I want to do this anyway.

I was looking at my hair earlier and I noticed that the bottom 3 inches of my hair are significantly thinner than the rest of my hair. I'll keep growing until December and then I think they gotta go.

I have no idea if I've written here before () but just in case, I wanted to say I haven't trimmed since the 2011 challenge and still goin' for this 2012 challenge! I do a bit of dusting and S&D every 2-3 months or so, that's it.
