No Trims in 2012 Challenge!

I'm in! I cut off six inches at the end of 2011, and my hair doesn't look any better for it. I was just looking at old pics and thinking, "Gosh, my hair wasn't so bad!"

Now I wish I had it back to how it was... my hair seems to fairytale no matter what. Gah. So I'm IN!

I'm still trim-free! I've been wearing in a ponytail every day, though since it's so uneven. I don't know if I will go the whole year, but I will at least get to the half-way point.

I'm now 16 months trim free and loving it! I have absolutely no desire to trim at all

No all over trims since last August. No bangs trim since beginning of February. I don't look a whole lot for splits, but haven't really seen any.

I can't believe I've made it to March. I've found taking photos of the new pretty updos and buns is helping me resist the urge to cut.

Yes, every 3 or 4 days usually - to keep on top of those pesky splits.

So far only finding one at each session, which is pretty good

I would say I mainly do "If I see it I get it" I don;t look for hem anymore. If I get a knot I try and work it out. If I happen to see a split( which has been rare these past few years) then I may cut it or not. I geared my regimine years ago to not getting splits and it has worked so far. Have not cut or trimmed since 1996 Did a major S&D in 2002. Then that tapered off as my healthier natural ends became the predominent hairs. That is when growth retention began for me. Even through the shedding, splits were not the problem.

Well, I already got a trim in January but I was recommended this thread by another post. I do plan to S&D, but I will try my very best not to get an official trim. My hair is Sl, and I have been told I really don't need to trim. So here I am.
