Refined coconut oil has very little, if any, scent.
I am the only person on earth who does not like the smell of coconuts, yes. Anyway, looking for a brand of coconut oil that doesn't smell like anything to use in the oil shampoo. Or, if not a brand, what it will be called: fractionated, pressed, etc.?

Yes, refined coconut oil has essentially the same fatty acid profile as unrefined. Fractionated had almost no fatty acids left.
I always use refined. You can get refined in organic too if that is important to you.
There's a refined brand(sorry can't remember the name- it starts with an 'L') that's in a white tub with a green lid that you can buy at walmart. It's pretty much scent less. HTH

I always thought that pure coconut oil doesn't smell like coconuts? I never had coconut oil that smelled like coconut.. I use this one: http://www.purekokosolie.nl/media/ca...solie8_171.jpg
It says cooking cream but the ingredients are 100% coconut oil
Edit: I now realized that there are different ones that do smell like coconut.. *runs to the store* I LOVE THAT SMELL!

I had to switch to refined because my fiance hates the smell - when I was using the unrefined stuff, it actually made him nauseous if I used it in our bedroom.
