    Default Help with hair typing

I'm new and I'm not really sure where I should post this so I posted it here and in the start forum.

So I was convinced for the longest time that my hair was a type 2a. But now that I am really looking at my hair, it doesn't seem as wavy as a 2a and I am feeling it is more like a 1c or even a 1b. I honestly can't tell.
As for the other two parts of the typing, I gave my best estimate based on the system I found in this forum, but I'm not at all sure if I'm right.
Could any of you guys help me out.

    Here are two picture.

My hair is kind of straight at the top and gets slightly wavy, but not a lot. I also have a lot of problems creating volume at the top of my head, and I assume it is because my hair is "thin". When I blow dry my hair it becomes straight, but when I leave it to air dry, it gets wavy. It also gets a little frizzy in humidity.

My guess would be 1C/2A. You never know, you may just need some length for the waves to show, there's some definite stretched s-shapes there.

I'd vote 1c, but hairtype (or at least the hairtype that you APPEAR to be) can change depending on what you're doing to your hair. Some people may find certain conditioners/treatments make their hair curlier, some may find they make it straighter! And combing and other treatment can easily pull on waves and straighten them out.

I'll also say 1c/2a. Looks a lot like mine at that length.
