    Default Did it...Love it.

I mixed "color" with equal amount of conditioner in a condiment bottle. I've been condish with it every day, and it's giving my medium brown hair a very subtle red/auburn hue. I LOVE how natural it looks. The mix will last me several washings, and its commitment free.

What kind of "color" did you use? Dye? Do tell!

Yes. I purchased an inexpensive box of Auburn by Revlon. I mixed the color with condition...and tossed the developer (ugh! I could have rinsed it out and reused for the dye and condish' mixture.) I just comb it and let set on my hair after I shampoo it...for about twenty. I'm saving what is left in my bottle mix and use it with the next washing. (I shake it to reblend the mixture.)

Next time I'm going to a Beauty Supply store and getting a deposit color I REALLY love. However the color enhancement is subtle enough that I actually don't feel like I have to be that paticular. It looks very natural, way more then a semi-perm which is why I wanted to try this.

I'm using a 50:50 ratio...you all know I mean just the color and NOT the developer (peroxide)...I would feel horrible if someone not familiar with the color process read this and misunderstood.

Wow! I had no idea you could use just the color and it would work. I thought it needed the develop to "activate" it.

    Pics, please!

Uhm, Im not doing pics right now. Yes, you can just use color, especially the "Beautiful" by Revlon at Sally's and other beauty stores. Basically, it is an at home color depositing conditioner. I wouldn't say it dyed my hair, but deposited color and enhanced it.
