    Default Henna Hut Reviews

I am planning on ordering henna and cassia from Henna Hut and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this brand?
Normally I use Lush's CaCa Rouge but Henna Hut is cheaper, seems more vibrant and less work.

    Thoughts?

Yes, I used Henna Hut, and it was a very good starter henna. HOWEVER, it FADES. BIG TIME. I used the red, and within about 3 weeks, I would have to re-do it because it would be faded to a dull orange. I wanted the color to build up so I could reach saturation, and Henna Hut just would not build up. I don't think there is anything harmful in it, but there are things other than just henna. And those things don't stick. They wash away.

I switched to BAQ henna from Mehandi, and it is just as easy, an I am reaching saturation.

Bottom line, I don't think Henna Hut will harm your hair, but it will not stay that vibrant.

I wouldn't use it. not only does it fade, it bleeds orange big time. No matter what you do. Clarify, chelate, etc, still bled orange. There are other places, llike henna sooq that sell better henna that won't ruin your towels, pillows, shirts etc.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll be looking into another henna brand, too.

I just looked at Henna Sooq and now I'm thinking about getting their Jamila Henna and Hibiscus Petal Powder.

I used Jamila Henna for about a year before going burgundy and its a beautiful! nice orangish bright henna. its well sifted, and wasnt hard to get out with some conditioner.. i changed from Jamila only because I wanted a darker, more brown color..

i bet the Hibiscus will make it even more intense.. good choice!

I've use jamila before and it was easy to rinse, and didn't stain my tub.

I can't recommend Mehandi.com highly enough! I've been buying my henna there for years!
