Fine, I wash my hair every other day :P
Yesterday, I elected to not wash my hair to see how it would do [I've done it before also, with about the same results], and it wasn't pretty.. my ends were actually DRIER, it was limp, my scalp was such an oily, gross mess [I showered and applied powder to face, hairline and neck in anticipation of this], my forehead was also much greasier than usual and broke out. Needless to say, this is the reason I wash daily. :P I washed it this morning, and it's just... wonderful. Smells good, looks good.
I have been considering cutting up to waist lately :O It is currently just above TB, b/c I keep trimming it...
2a/b / M/C / ii. Low porosity.
Fine, I wash my hair every other day :P
... absolutely perfect! After the 3rd day, however; different story.
If I don't wash my hair for a day, it is greasy. I'm trying to stretch washes, but can only do so when I'm not working the next day.
Fine. Usually softer and happier than day 1. By day 3 my bangs and temples are starting to get a bit greasy. So right now I wash every other day.
Fine. It's after 2 days that I have to worry.
I really like my second day hair. And my third day hair.
It's by day 4 that it starts to look noticeably greasy, and I begin considering giving it a wash.
Strangely enough, I was worried that when I started exercising again I'd need to wash my hair everyday, but even with moderate sweating, I just to a body-wash afterwards and my hair looks fine.
Fantastic! My hair does not look its best on wash day. I actually get the most compliments after a week or so, but I normally wash once or twice a week.

fine- my hair is actually at its best 3 day's after washing, 3rd, 4th and 5th day are usually pretty good as well. 6th day it gets very greasy, and then I make it worse by applying oil myself then the 7th day I wash
May 12th 2012, virgin hair back!
chin, shoulder,apl,bsl,waist, hip,tailbone, classic.
Hip length expected in January 2016.
Softer and more easily manageable than it is the first day after I wash it. I apply oil or Nightblooming's Panacea (and now I'm trying out shea butter) to my ends nightly though, to stave off dryness. If I don't, it just feels awful. The ends feel like dried grass.
My scalp is perfectly fine to the third or (sometimes, rarely) fourth day.
Some people's scalps just produce more oil it seems. Mine used to be like that for years, and that combined with a total lack of self confidence encouraged me to obsessively wash my hair, sometimes twice in one day. Now it seems it's calmed down, although if I work out it gets greasy three times as fast.
