    Lightbulb dyed black to red

hello my beautiful long locked ladies,
    so i have a problem
I dyed my hair and it was supposed to be a dark brown and its pretty much a black color. i regret it but it looks shiny and healthy but now i want to get it to a very light reddish color like this:

    http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/...3at72447PM.png

    this is my dream color

but this is my hair now, it looks darker due to it being a webcam picture indoors

i dyed it 3 weeks ago but i cant tell if i have roots or if it is fading

this is my natural color btw

it is a brown color but very reddish

so anyway my main question is how i should go about doing this. should i try and get a hair dye remover or should i bleach my hair then dye it red?

Hello welcome to LHC. I don't know where you live but yes try a colour remover color oops in the USA or colour B4 in the UK. Personally I love the darker colour on you, I think it really suits you, though I do like your rich chestnut colour too, very pretty.

Reds can go orange, especially if you end up trying bleach.

I wouldn't tell you to dye (reddish or anything else); I'd tell you what you've already been told - to use Color Oops (or similar color remover).

Ebba, don't touch any more color until you figure out what you want!

First you wanted darker brown. you dyed and over darkened your hair. Oops.

Now you want to go reddish and much lighter.

What happens if you achieve much lighter and orange, instead of red? Another oops.

Step away from the hair dyes!!
