    Default Cholesterol

I'm thinking about trying Cholesterol on....well, my horse. She's growing her mane out along with me, whether she wants to or not! Just wondering if anybody here has tried it and what the pros and cons are.

Also, is one brand in particular better than the others, have you found? Any other tips would be appreciated!

I never heard of Cholesterol being something external that one can apply. I thought it was just that stuff in your blood! But I did order some M-T-G mane conditioner to use on my cat's skin problem, and I figured what the heck, I'll try it on my own head too!

I've been using MTG as well, and have used it a lot on my horse.

Yep, cholesterol is stuff for hair, too. It's geared towards black (or maybe ethnic) hair care, from what I've heard.

I think the Queen Helene stuff is supposed to be good. I haven't had that stuff in forever... wonder if my hair would like it these days...

I recomend the "Softee" brand. Queen Helene's is quite greasy, Softee is much lighter and easier to handle and to me, had much better results.

I've used cholesterol on my hair and it is usually found in the African hair care section. It is good for drier hair. I'd start out using a little bit first and see how your hair reacts. Some hair soaks it up, and others, like any other type of oils, may end up looking a bit dirty and piece-y. Good luck!

I've read the label on the Queen Helene and they don't specify
what "kind" of cholesterol it is.
    Is it cow? pig?
    Is there vegetable cholesterol?

Silver Strands, that is a great question. I hate let you all see that I have a darker side, but here it goes: Wouldn't it be gross if it was human cholesterol???? I picture...well...never mind...

surgery clinics and got the bags of fat from liposuction?
And then he made Soap!! out of it and sold it!
    How gross!
