I assume you mean there's no parting down the back of the head with this style?
I rather like a parting.........
Hey Guys! I think I invented a new hairstyle (or rediscovered someone else's on my own.) It hides the back part on pigtails and heidi braids, and is waaaay simpler than other methods I've tried. It also stops pigtail braids from loosening around the ears, and my heidi braids feel more secure than usual.
Pics to follow, but here are the instructions if you want to get started.
1. Divide your hair into 4 bunches. Left, right, upper, and lower.
2. Grab both top bunches, and switch them (pull the behind your head towards your opposite shoulder).
3. Smooth out any bumps with a BB or finetooth comb
3.English braid all the hair on the left. Repeat on other side. Pigtails completed!
(you may stop here).
5. For Heidi/crown braid, wrap your braids forward and up around your head.
6. If the back looks at all messy, take a fine tooth comb/BB brush and smooth it out.
It feels really secure, and no ugly part. It looks really soft and romantic, in my opinion. Give it a shot and tell me what you think!

I'm pretty much disabled when it comes to understanding hairstyles by words alone.
Do you have a picture of this particular style? I'd love to see it
I don't like parting either; a straight slash of scalp simply isn't attractive to me.
I'm looking forward to the pictures.
yes, I would like pictures as well!
