Anyone have suggestions for pure henna? Cause I am a bit lost now xD
I live in Holland so I don't know if I can order anything from the States withour hiiigh sending-costs.

I want a color something like this, and I think it is doable with my darkblonde!
I am also from Holland! I get my henna from a little place in Deventer called De Kruidnagel (drogisterij) It only costs 1,60 per 100 grams and it is pure not BAQ though

Ahh wow awesome! But I don't really live nearby Deventer (Dordrecht), but, if I ever go there again for a concert or so, I will go look for De Kruidnagel

For now I found some cheap "red henna" in a Turkish store, I am trying it on a small part of my roots right now!

Alright, it worked out pretty good !!!
So I will type out what I did. Because when Googling for my problem, posts like the one I am about to make helped me a lot, so who knows I can help someone by posting what I did.

    So to illustrate it:
1: Roots were too dark because *something* went wrong with henna on darkblonde roots.

2: Bleached it using BlondSpray. Only to get back to my own natural darkblonde. I would never have done this if I was a natural brunette. That would mean I'd have to do it each time before henna, no-one should do that, I read a lot of warnings about Blondspray that it can damage the hair SO badly. But I knew this would be a 1 time thing, to reverse what went wrong on my roots. That turned out pretty well!

3: Test-henna on the roots. I could not do a strandtest on hair in my brush, since that would be the well-dyed orangy color! I HAD to know if my roots would get brown again using this henna. So I applied it like this:

4: Rinse it out! It looks A LOT better, it's not brown! It's still not 100% the orange I want, but it's way better than before!! And still I can see some roots that are not really orange, but well, maybe that's just cause the henna may not have touched that part, I don't know.

So step 5 will be to use this henna all over!
But now I am doubting wether or not to henna my lenghts again or not! I guess I will do another strand-test on how it will turn out on my orange lenghts, cause I wouldn't mind if it all got a teeny bit of a deeper orange!
