My hair got better during the day? now it feels so soft and shiny and i´m sorry i´ve accepted the wear hair up for a month challenge, I wanna show the world!
I didn't think acv actually removed build up, just valences the ph balence. Lemon or citric acid removes minerals though. Does anyone have luck with hard water, poo bars, and lemon rinses?

I've read that ACV can help remove hard water (mineral) build-up and it has worked for me a lot better than lemon rinses honestly (ETA: probably because the rinse has to have very little lemon juice in it so it doesn't end up bleaching the hair /ETA). *shurg*
Here are some sources that say ACV helps combat hard water:

ETA: And some sources that show ACV can remove soap scum:

(I probably should have linked these in my first post about ACV removing shampoo bar build-up)

I am so stupid excited. Got a package of about 6 samples coming in the mail soon! I'm super excited to try the marshmallow one and the Shea rose facial soap.
I guess it just depends on how hard the water is. My waters super hard, and I can't get a softener. ACV helps my hair with regular shampoo and condish, but shampoo bars, even with the ACV, I just can't get to work. I've played around with the dilutions and it just is not doing it.

Have you tried Club Soda for chelation or baking soda to clarify? Someone recommended coconut and argan oil as well.
if you have hard water, one thing you can do it take bottled water into the shower with you for your hair. We have an RO, and when I feel like it, I'll fill a jug with water to take with me for wetting and rinsing my hair. When I bring water, I am able to use my poo bar, otherwise, I just use a daily clarifying shampoo and condition/wash/condition.
