Fresh highlights (roots only) a week ago.
I was looking through the thread full of gorgeous pictures of black hair, and after the thread about growing out ash/dark blonde hair I thought we should have a thread for us blondes, too! (I know there's a thread for discussing blonde hair care, but may we have a separate one for pictures?) There are so many different shades that vary so much with different lighting, and they're all so pretty in different ways. So, I'd love to see your blonde hair, whether it's natural or chemical. Bonus points for different lights.
To start us off, here's how my natural colour changes.
Far from a window vs standing right by it:
Outside, on a cloudy day:
And finally, inside in not-quite-direct sunlight it can look really light.
Now you!

Guess I can't crop evenly. Anyway, it's really overcast today- my hair is usually a little more blonde than is showing.
shweedie, justgreen- your pictures are so nice! Do you have a self-photograph method? Or maybe just some understanding bystanders?
This is my favorite new pic because it shows all the colors of my hair:

Cool pictures! Lilli, that's really nice; I love the shading. And what a lovely updo! Sweedie, your hair color is really cool. Almost strawberry blondish in some lights. Justgreen, that's exactly what my hair looks like... in my dreams. lol
Mine changes a lot depending on the light, whether you're looking at the underside or canopy, and, uh, how clean it is.
incandescent lightbulb, underside, none too clean:
ditto the above, but this is the canopy:
(my son think it is hilarious that I take pictures of the back of my head)
brighter sunlight coming through window, freshly washed:
Anyway, a lot of variables. Sometimes it can look nearly white, and sometimes it can look surprisingly dark, and sometimes it can even have a reddish cast. Yay blonds!
ugh: how do I get pictures from the albums to show up without the link? Should I just upload straight from photobucket?

I have incredibly moody blonde hair. It can be anywhere from ultralight brown to honey blonde. It can also be dark venetian blonde to medium strawberry. I do not CO because it kills the color. I'd be curious how other blondes CO successfully.
My avatar pic from 2007 in direct sunlight. Attached is a photo I posted on the 'photoshop your hair' thread. This may be the darkest and reddest it gets.
See: Avatar and signature, LOL. Although I recently hennaed my hair it shows up as blonde in most lighting.
Silvery blonde is still blonde, right?

Spidermom I love your silvery blonde hair!
I'm growing out dyed blonde hair, but the roots appear to be ash blonde.
This was the last time I had my hair all natural. You can see that the roots are darker and ashier than the length.
This was when I had only Sun-In in my hair but you can see my true color peeking out from the underside. This was when my hair was at it's prettiest I think. I had just started co-washing and properly taking care of it.
Then I for some reason went thru a cycle of trying to dye it different colors so it would be easier to grow out and dyeing it again when the color went too brassy. Whew, it really damaged my hair, but I'm just letting my natural color grow and not care how brassy the dyed part gets.
These are my roots in shadow- ( is it just me or is the left side darker than the right?):
And these are my roots in sunlight:
Wow Springlets - big difference between roots in sunlight and roots in shade.
