her hair is also thick in strands and volume which is unusual for natural blondes plus she is olive skinned and not pale.

I am so glad to hear this! Everyone seems to say that only "true" blondes have pale, pinkish skin, but I have always had olive skin. So does my dad who also has blonde hair.

My hair looks a lot darker here.. in natural light on a cloudy day

My natural colour is dark blonde/light brown.. but I dye it lighter!

If you are from a country where there are a lot of northern European/Caucasian people, blonde is common and so the darker blondes (level 6) and especially ashy dark blondes look brown to you. If you look at the world as a whole, level 6 and the dark ashy colors are definitely blonde!

Schweedie, your hair color in that length photo over your chest looks the most like mine, I think. I never see myself in any color swatches b/c I have too many shade variants to look uniform.

I think the darker blondes/ light browns are more common than pale blonde. Apart from my daughter I know of only one other natural pale blonde, the rest are bottle blondes.

I live in a high Irish community and red hair is quite common, as well as very dark hair but id agree mousy (hate that word) hair is the most common.
