For hair typing, we'd need to see your natural texture. It's hard to tell when it's combed out
I am trying to grow my hair out after finally getting rid of the last bits of my haircolor and embracing my gray (at least for NOW, because I have moments where I doubt my decision!!!), and honestly can't figure out if my hair is 2C or 3A. Opinions? It IS combed out in this video....it looks weird clumped together at this length when I let it air dry.

You have combed it however id say 3a possibly b if not combed. As you say you hair is layered it also makes it difficult but your a curly girly without a doubt. Your hair is very thick too and i love your silvers!

Combed out disturbs your natural texture too much. If it clumps when it dries, we need to see that.
I'd say at least 3a off the cuff, maybe more w/o combing.
