Cones, it feels sticky.
Combs, they just make a mess; lots of breakage, etc.
Most protein, but apparently keratin works out okay. Or Joico have done something tricky with their K-Pack Reconstructor.
There are a whole lot of things that I can't use because my skin hates them, but that's for another thread and another day.

Since I am still a newbie, I am still trying different things for my hair. But two things I am sure of that my hair and scalp hate...
blowdryer and hairspray.
Since I have given up both, there is much improvement.
My hair hates extra virgin olive oil.

Friction, combs, ACV, and sulfates. My hair gets dry and brittle from any of these.
I've just discovered that my hair hates protein makes it crunchy and brittle.
