What does your family think of your long hair?

Forgive me if this poll has been done before but I wanted to know what everyone's nearest-and-dearest think of their long hair? My mum LOVES my hair and tells me never to cut it again (she was devestated when I went to APL) but my MIL has suggested to my hubby that he should coax me into 'doing something' with my hair and 'getting a style'... sigh...
So I figured I can't be alone in this. What do all your families think?

They have varying opinions.

DH is pretty neutral. I swear I could shave it all off and it would honestly not be a big deal to him.

MIL thinks I should get it "styled" but she keeps her mouth shut about it. I think she thinks we're poorer than we are, so maybe that's behind the uncharacteristic silence there. lol

My mom is a lifelong longhair, so I think she's supportive but it wouldn't bother her if I cut it, either.

My grandmother is probably my biggest hair-fan. lol.

What is MIL and DH?

My mother is okey with my long hair. I think she would have preferred it no longer than waist, preferably no longer that shoulder length but she says it is pretty and she do help me dye it.

My hubby love my long hair. My father and my brother I do not know, they have never expressed an opinion, and I think my grand aunt like it.

They also have varying opinions. My boyfriend and parents thinks whatever makes me happy. My grandma (who I'm very close to) likes my short bob from last year because she grew up in the era of short hair and thinks long hair isn't attractive. I understand her feelings but I'm still going to grow my hair long. Anyway, my boyfriend hasn't said too much besides "Whatever you want, babe" but I'm sure he'll express an opinion when it gets much longer.

In my family most people have just shoulder length, so some of them like my hair and think that it is pretty, but they think that´s too long.

My impression is that most of the females think it's pretty, but that it must be lots of work. The men probably have no idea what my hair is like

My family's a bit traditional, so they think the longer the better. The boyfriend tells me I can do whatever I want with my hair, but I think he secretly wants me to keep my hair long. He's just too sweet to say so because I used to have short hair and loved it.
