Speaking for myself, it seems pretty obvious to me that now that I'm trimming by the moon, my hair is growing a lot faster than it used to. I just went back and looked at my trims from the last 4 or 5 months, and in that time I've trimmed very close to an inch a month... and my hair is still longer than when I started trimming!!!

I've grown the standard 1/2" a month for the last two years, despite all of my attempts to speed my growth.

It's entirely possible that I was experiencing breakage which slowed my apparent growth, so now that I'm trimming, I'm retaining more length. It's also possible that I'm merely making my hair grow faster by believing that it will (even though all of the previous growth experiments I've done have yielded zero results). I like/choose to believe that the moon has some influence on my person, and I'm merely enhancing that influence.

Anybody that knows what is the best moon/day for removing hair dye/cassia stain? I don`t want to do a treatment if it effects to slow down hair growth.

Also bought a kindle book for 3.50 dollars calld: Moon hair calendar Jan-march 2015. is a little minus that there are only for 3 month..

I would say a full moon, because then the moon starts waning and that would reflect the dye fading/washing out.

Oh wow, this thread has been dormant for a while.

I forgot to trim my hair in May's new moon, so I did it yesterday and I'll make sure to trim at the next new moon on June 16.

Not sure I believe this.....but what is it that draws our interest even when we say it can't be so.

This has intrigued me...reading through all the information is dizzying, though! I'm going to go on an information hunt on the internet tonight and hopefully gain some idea on how to start trimming on a cycle

Well experience speaking, I' ve been doing my moon trims and have notice somehow excelent results. I dont enterily believe that moon makes perfect hair, but still decided to give it a try because it simply didnt hurt to trim on those days-nights. My hair is thicker and much better now, so I say if u experience good results like me, then why not do it!!!!

Im a natural 1B-C head and growing out from so!

I'd say it's either to connect with a very old tradition, the placebo effect, or just sticking to a proper schedule instead of cutting/trimming whenever we want.

I have been trimming with the moon and getting great results. That said, I have not compared it with not trimming with the moon to see if it makes any difference.

I might as well keep on trimming with the moon. I don't know that I believe in it, but it certainly doesn't seem to be doing any harm! It could well just be showing the benefits of having a good trimming schedule.
