I cut my hair!

My hair was almost down to my tailbone but a few weeks ago, I got it cut. I had a ton of split ends and I felt like changing my hair up a bit so I got it cut so it's almost halfway down my back.

Not only does it feel better but it looks better too... or at least I think it does. That and I forgot how much curl my hair actually had!

It turns out, one of the things I was doing wrong with my hair(aside from not getting my hair trimmed regularly) is that I use to brush my hair. Using a brush or comb is a big no-no for curly hair when it's dry because it can damage the hair.

What I do now is I either run my fingers through my hair or use a wide tooth comb after it's washed to remove any loose hairs and to get rid of tangles and that's it. Believe it or not, I don't have any knots or tangles when it's dry.

I've also been using olive oil as well. My hair never felt so good!

Thanks! I didn't change the color. The first picture was taken during the day and the second was taken late at night. That and the olive oil that I now use actually darkened my hair a bit because it was so dry before.
