I always braid my hair to the right
Over my left shoulder, I'm right-handed.

Over the cheese!
I'm left handed and pull the braid over my right shoulder. Left shoulder feels awkward to me, but the left side braid also looks unusual because I only do right shoulder braids.
I'm taking life one hair milestone at a time. I'm just letting my hair grow at it’s own speed.
I always braid my hair to the right
Lefty here, I used to always finish it over the left shoulder but then I found it was kind of tugging my braids a little off-center so I switched to the right shoulder, which seems to help.
Striving for my terminal length.
Lefty and I braid over my left shoulder.
Over my right shoulder- I wrap the braid around my neck, hahaha!
Over the cheese!
I braid over my head because I've found that going to the side leaves a slight twist to the braid and I don't like the loo of it on me. It looks silly while I'm doing it, but I'm happy with the results.
Once it became long enough to be a thing I started pulling the braid upwards, and eventually forward over my head.
When I do pigtails this makes a bit of an issue, though. Makes a bit of a twist.
Never thought about it before but I'm left-handed and I braid over my right shoulder
I'm another leftie. I don't tend to have just one plait often but when I do after I start at the back I will eventually pull it over my left shoulder to finish off. With other styles I start and finish where I want the plait to lie.
