My hair is about this texture and length, so I was just wondering how I should style it so that It would looks this way. My hair always ends up not so neat and much more triangle-ish. Any suggestions?

To me it looks very similar to the curly girl method ... scrunch a hard-hold gel into soaking wet hair, blot with paper towels or something very smooth to remove moisture, let it air dry until it's 100% dry and hard, don't touch it all while it's drying, then scrunch out the crunch when it's totally dry (it must be totally dry!).

In my hair that looks like the picture below ... although it's slow to dry in my hair so I don't do it every day. I like to give it pretty much all day to dry and then scrunch out the crunch right before I go out at night.

The triangle issue is probably just a matter of how your hair is cut. Layers would make it less bottom-heavy.
