It seems odd to me that your hair would be that length and not reach around your head? Is it taper that's causing the problem?

Well done! I have such a hard time pinning braids so that they'll stay. My hair spits out pins.

Some people's braids seem to eat up more length than others. That could be part of it. I think if I hit 40" I could just barely get around my head, and I have a fairly small head. So head size can be another issue.

    Change is the only constant.

Brilliant tutorial! This is my favourite hairstyle, but I could never figure out how to get it to look decent with my taper. I'll try this out as soon as possible. Thank you very much for making it.

Great, thanks . Don't forget to post pictures afterwards (if you're up for it!)

I love this! This is perfect for my length hair and it will give me a coronet braid without making my arms fall off and it might actually work with my hair type (my hair doesn't do well in the french or dutch style curving around my head)!

Can't wait to try it out -- and thanks for posting a video! =)

That looks great! I should try that when my hair is longer.
By the way, don't mean to be weird, but you look almost identical to me lol...except for hair and eye colour, mine are darker, but your face is very similar to mine!
