What is your favorite brand of henna?

I need to redo my hair soon and want to do a dark red

I would prefer all natural with no metallic salts.




BTW on the off chance you are in Boise ID do you know of a hairdresser who would apply ir for me? I am not always the best at getting every place my sneaky thick hair likes to hide.

I'm really pleased with the Rajasthani henna I bought from Henna Sooq. If your hair is as dark as it looks in you avatar, I think it'll give you a nice deep red after a few applications. I have dark brown hair with natural red highlights. After leaving it on for one 8-hour application, my hair still looks mostly the same, but with a nice dark auburn tint to it. I imagine it would only get more red with repeated applications.

If you are going for red...I now think you should steer clear of HH. I recently used burgundy and it's going orange on my already. *sigh* I've been singing their praises because I always had great results with the Mahogany, but I have read alot about the reds fading...now I see it first hand.

I've been using Dulhan BAQ on the cheap from my local Indian grocery, and getting much more
red/less orange from it than with the Jamila I'd been using before.

This, too. My white hairs are much darker/redder now since I switched to the Dulhan. The Jamila made them pumpkin-orange.

Dulhan is good, also Red rose ,1:49 $ from local iranin store. Loooove it

Hennasooq's Red Raj. gives a FANTASTIC stain that leans towards burgundy!
