Any idea how a lemon rinse would work on dark brown hair?

I summarized the original thread including tips, broke down the original dilution used, and the thread with all reports is linked here, http://ktanihairsense.blogspot.com/2...vation-by.html.

The short answer is no, it can be left-in, rinsed out lightly or rinsed out well.

The colour of the hair does not matter. The original rinse, which is much more diluted, has not been reported to cause photosensitivity or lighten hair. Other, stronger dilutions may do both if left-in. Because the original recipe is an estimate (5 to 6 litres of tap water), more water can be added to the breakdown I gave, based on 5 litres.

I left the rinse in. Actually, I put a big pan of rinse to the bottom of the bathtub, leaned over, took a plastic container and poured the rinse on my hair and scalp and let the rinse drip back to the pan. My hair felt very silky while I did it, for a couple of mins maybe, I just loved the feel

Then I just poured the pan contents on my head and hair and gently squeezed water out, and scrunched a bit.

Oh my, that is lovely hair!! I've been thinking about doing a rinse for ages, with results like that I'll stop thinking and go for it!

Looks like you took a curling iron to it! lol
I am going to have to try this. I never had defined curls though, just lots of wavy frizz.
