Hello Louie! This is my first post as well. For the past several months, I've been using Alaffia's shea butter and honey shampoo and conditioner exclusively. I have thick, curly, VERY dry hair that I used to wash only once a week because I was afraid of drying it out even more. But with the shea butter shampoo and condish, I've been washing my hair every other day because it infuses my hair with moisture, more than anything else I've ever used I think. I used to have a dry, flaky scalp as well, and I think Alaffia has helped this as well. My hair feels softer and more moisturized and I haven't changed anything else in my routine!
I leave the conditioner in for a couple of minutes. I'm pretty impatient so I haven't tried leaving it in longer to see if it works better. I tried the neem and shea shampoo and conditioner before but didn't like it as much. It wasn't as moisturizing and I absolutely hated the scent of the conditioner. They have a shea butter and henna shampoo and conditioner that I might have to try next...
I also love the fair trade, sustainability idea behind their company. It makes me feel good to buy from them...
