Hi All
I've literally just finished with some Celebration. It was quite finely ground, mixed easily and smelled fresh and spinachy. Stained very fast. My hair is drying and despite the semi-cruddy lighting at my house I can already tell that my hair has quite a red hue. Glad about this. I'm pleased so far with the result and the service from Tap Dancing lizard...is that Mehandi/Catherine, I think? Anyhow I was reading the praise for HennaSooq on another thread and it made me wonder about the quality of the henna I just used. Not becuase of my experience with it, that all was perfect, I just don't know much about henna in general and would not be able to spot quality henna.
Have you used Celebration or other Ancient Sunrise henna and if so did you think it was quality stuff?
Thanks!

I love Celebration henna. I have three boxes stashed in my freezer for good measure. The dye content is high at 3.4 and the sift is ultra fine. After using lots of hennas it too is my favorite by far.
Awesome thanks patti. In your experience is it what could be called 'quality henna'?

It is my understanding that Celebration has been lab tested and is BAQ henna.
I just used the Celebration henna last night. It's still oxidizing but it seems to be a nice color. I really liked the sift of it. It was smooth and creamy, easy to apply and rinse off. I have been henna'ing on and off for a few years and always order from Mehandi/Catherine. I find that all of her henna's are of very good quality and have never had a problem with any of them.
Garnet66 we were henna-ing together from afar last night Funneee!

Celebration is the only henna I use now. It has the highest dye content of all the hennas and is definately BAQ. My lighter roots cover completely with this henna and that has never happened before. I love it! I get a ruby red with it.
