Same; when I was in the process of stretching my washes I used a bit of cornflour along my parting to help absorb some of the oil, and if I didn't comb it out well enough, that's how my roots would look (except on brown hair, not blonde, so even more obvious ).

Not sure about grey as a fashion hair colour - I love silver hair, but I worry women will get more flack for keeping their hair natural after the trends have changed. Good on Kristen McMenemy though, she looks gorgeous!
