Looks great
I've watched some youtube tutorials recently of how to make a 'double ponytail' to add the effect of a long ponytail. On, say, classic hair this would make a tiny difference, but on shorter, layered hair it makes alot of difference. Here is my shot:
Not too shabby eh?
It is alot more obvious in real life though, especially from the side. This effect is made by scooping up the hair from the sides and top and forming a high ponytail, then using the bottom crescent left over to make a second ponytail underneath, a little lower. I think i will wear my hair like this out tomorrow What do you think?
ETA: Here is the before, a normal ponytail:

Looks great
Looks great! I posted something like this last year some time. My way is similar but you do like a half up and then take hair from each side around the nape of your neck but leave a long section down the back so you get the length. I think my explanation is a bit crap but I hope the pictures make sense. You need a french barette or flexi to make it look the most convincing. Here are my two shots

Amazing how much longer they make your hair look.
You can get a similar effect by using a banana clip. I was amazed at how long it looked.
Chin /// Shoulder /// APL /// BSL ///Waist /// Hip /// BCL /// Tailbone /// Classic (final goal) /// All one length Classic
That's so cool! I'm going to have to try that sometime Thanks for sharing!

It's like magic hair growth. Cool.
Wow that is awesome! It seems so obvious to do something like that but I never would have thought of it! Going to try it tonight!
Cool Thanks guys - I'm trying lots of different hairstyles and i'm also thinking of getting a flexi-8. Any suggestions for a size? I have very fine, slippery hair but quite alot of it, a little wavy blonde hair. Thanks
