    Default Sooner rather than Later?

    Alright!!
So I have officially decided that I AM going to get bangs...
    Refer to: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/...d.php?t=100866

    But I have another dilemma...

    Sooner or Later?

The reason I need this question answered, is because I am going to be Katara for Halloween.
I want to have the hair from both pictures.
And I will have the clothing from the first.

This is why I almost want to wait till after Halloween to get the bangs cut.
Kataras loopies wont be very easy with shorter layers framing the face.
There are other hairstyles of hers I can try though...

The big reason I would want to get them cut sooner, is because I have this big event on Oct. 26th where I will be walking around a charity event in bodypaint and handing out raffle tickets. And obviously I want to feel that I look my best for that.
Also, I simply would love to get them cut sooner to start feeling better about myself sooner.
Plus when I make my mind up on something, its SUPER hard for me to wait...

I currently have an appt. for Nov. 1st with the hair dresser, should I wait and just go to that one?
Or should I get it done sooner and work on another Katara hairstyle?

    Google Katara images.
There are tons, and tons of different hairstyles as well.

I will also see if I messed something up.

I voted for cutting them sooner.
And(just my opinion) Katara's hairstyle during season 3 was much prettier than this one.

I voted for wait til after. Though I'm with EtherealDoll, Katara's hair looked great during season 3 when she was dressed as the fire nation.

    I voted for now.
Because you want it and it will make you happy. Faster. And there's the 26.10 event.
About the Halloween style... Yes, it is a one argument against "now". But it's 1:2. Democracy, anyone?
It will be harder to do the style you want for Halloween. But you can learn it, find a way. ALL styles will be slightly different now and you will have to change ways of doing many. So... why waiting for this particular one?

I do love the Fire Nation hairstyle. Using hairspray would help simply keep the bangs swept to the sides.

That is a very good point.
    Well damn...

Now my Husband has joined the Wait team, and his reason is...
I spent the money on the costumes, so I have to wait to get it cut so the whole thing looks perfect.
He also brought up the fact... What if I dont like the bangs? Then I have to live with them through an event, and Halloween.

I say wait till after. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy them once you've got them, and you won't have to experience any remorse at all for the busted Halloween costume if, for some reason, you can't make the bangs work how you want them.
