Do you read the ingredients to their hair products if they're out?

No. It's there hair, not mine. If I want to know what they use I ask.

I only do it out of curiosity...and am sure to put the products back where I found them...I don't do it try and change the stuff a friend uses, but what if they have a great product? Maybe I wanna bring it up in conversation later (for a close friend who knows my hair obsession and that I read her products) or i want to try it? I really don't mean to be rude though....

I've done this before when I'm bored or something looks interesting. I'll just grab a bottle of anything, lotion, conditioner, whatever is in reach and read while I am using the potty.

I never have at my friends house (not out of a sense of morality..they wouldn't care...I just never thought to) But I do at my SIL house. I always see what goodies shes got and she does the same with mine She is forever buying new stuff so it's fun! Like a mini treasure hunt.

This is what I do. It might be anything -- lotion, air freshener, etc. But if I'm in there for more than 30 seconds I want to read something.

Sometimes. Usually only if I use their shower, because my friend and I went to beauty school together and I like to see if she has something I might like to buy.
